That’s going to be one of the nicest GTX’s ever !

I borrowed the picture for reference. I'm slow enough trying to get one car done!

So I'm trying to get in the mood to do battle with the glass tomorrow. So thought I'd do something simple real quick tonight. My car was missing one of the moisture deflectors at the back of the rear quarter glass so thought I would make one.

First I needed some thin black plastic. Oil jug looks about right

So while I was in the garage last night I put some black light dye in the power steering unit. It developed a leak and I was having a tough time finding it. So this morning I went out for a look.

So the leak is where the sheet metal tank seals to the cast iron. Leak is showing up at the bottom by the sticker. This is going to suck!

So I'm trying to get my quarter glass installed. I have the door window in and adjusted close. I have the 1/4 glass pretty close to sliding in the seal but haven't gotten it up to the stops which I think is the reason for the big gap between the door and 1/4 glass. Any advice is welcomed. I spent most of the day fighting with this.
Thanks

Funny I did take the time to remove the sticker and adhesive.

Me too. I'm finally off overtime and am going to make a extra effort to get it done. This window ordeal has had me dreading working on the project. If I can get by this last big hurdle it'll be down hill from here on.
