Anybody have a subscription to Mopar Muscle?

Hi,
Has anyone spoken with a lawyer about a class action suit against the TEN group? I received an email from TEN on December 17 2019 saying the magazine has been discontinued and I have over 2 years left on my subscription! What's really stupid is on December 30 2019 I received a letter in snail mail wanting me to renew my subscription to Mopar Muscle an save!!! Really, on a magazine that has been discontinued? We all need to stand together and let corporate American know we aren't going to stand for this crap any longer!!!

These are the magazines that are axed - although they say the online versions will continue:
• 4-Wheel & Off-Road
• Automobile
• Car Craft
• Chevy High Performance
• Classic Trucks
• Diesel Power
• Hot Rod Deluxe

• Mustang Monthly
• Street Rodder
• Super Chevy

• Truck Trend

Sorry to say it's the way of the future. On line shopping, reading and such is killing the paper magazine and what they call the brick and mortar stores.

This is true, but it should not be legal for these publishers to keep money for magazines that they agreed to provide to us when taking our subscriptions.

Mopar Collectors Guide isn't to bad $30 or so a year and a fresh t shirt with a renewal.

My MM subscription runs out in June so when I received the email from TEN I emailed their customer service and asked when the last issue would be and if i could get any others beyond June, but they replied about a week later and said the last issue was the March issue, which I have already received. They also said:
"A formal letter explaining the situation as well as the options we are providing will be arriving via USPS/Email later this month (February). Once the letter/email has been received and you have been able to review the options you will be prompted to visit our website (more detailed instructions in the letter) and elect your decision at that time."

They do have some useful tech articles but beyond that I can manage without another monthly mag to find room for at home. The main item I will miss is the conclusion of their 65 Coronet build with the 825 hp Barton hemi - i was keen on seeing how streetable it actually is when finished :(

I was subscribed to three of the discontinued magazines.....emailed them and had all the discontinued subscriptions added to my present Hot Rod Magazine subscription...I now have a subscription to Hot Rod for longer than i will probably live!!!

I finally got ahold of a person in this matter. They offered me a $20 refund check since I wasn't interested in any of the other options. I agreed and received the cash a few days ago.

I use to have a subscription to Mopar Muscle
I got tired of Randy Bolig (spelling ?) style
& he was a lousy forum Moderator too
& the articles/writing were getting worse & worse
actually surprised it lasted as long as it did, after like 2005-ish
along with the soon to be inevitable demise of the print magazine too

I org. was on their forum too, before it was shutdown
& many of the contributing members are here on FBBO now too

I don't do any print mag.'s now & never will again

I dropped all mine when they became all advertising couldn't get them in the mail before they hit the newsstands have car mags. back to the fifties i rather pick up an old issue and re read and look at them

I stopped my subscription to MM long ago. Engine challenge builds, seemed like every issue. That Barton in 65 Dodge Coronet would like to read but not enough to pay.

Like most here I subscribed to MM, MA and MCG but I am letting all of them die without renewing; really none are worth reading IMO all for various reasons;

MM - great if you are a drag racer or are building a modern mopar
MA - can't stand their writing and juvenile style; just go to the last 2 paragraphs to learn anything relevant about the car you are looking at. E-booger while quite knowledgeable is an arrogant dick.
MCG - all about the auctions and environmental BS with a lot of "1 of 1" crap sprinkled in. I am pretty tired of looking at cars that rich people pass around like art.

I don't think I have actually read a complete article in any of them in several years. The T shirt is the only reason I kept renewing with MCG.
