Has anyone replaced the rear shocks on there B body to the KYB or equal mono tube type?

Have you looked at Bilsteins? If you do a quick search on this forum you will see it is one of the most popular shock. The KYB tends to provide a harsher ride than the Bilsteins.

Thanks
James

I have had Monroe, then KYB and currently Bilsteins. I have not noticed much difference, front or rear. Especially, for the price of Bilsteins. Others will disagree. I think it depends on rear springs a lot. I have HD rear leafs.

I run Koni shocks on the Coronet. I had to build my own shock plates out back. I made them double shear since I'm not a fan of the stud mount that the factory engineers used on these cars.
