I sent my thoroughly thrashed and cracked ‘70 Ramcharger air system to Don for restoration. I just unpacked it, and I am blown away! I could not be more impressed. This thing looks literally brand new. Not bondoed and spray paint new, but factory new. The man is a magician and I recommend him completely. Not sure what forum to post this under but this one seems appropriate.

I to had Don restore my 69 air grabber it looks brand new.He does amazing work.

I’m in northern Canada, so postage each way was a few hundred. The work itself was right around $500, and considering what it looks like now compared to when I sent it the money was well spent. I’ll try and get a few pix this afternoon.

Pix as promised. What is so amazing is that these don’t look painted, they look just like the colour was moulded in like original.

 sweet and a decent price, how long of a wait?

It took a while, 8 or ten months I think, but I never hurried him and in fact told him that I was in no rush. He’s a busy guy, I think mine was one of three that he was doing at the time.
But he answered the phone every time I called, and answered all of my questions. Seems like a very stand up guy to me. And the quality of the work is amazing. I wish I had taken pix before I sent these but I guarantee they were rough.

No worries about hijacking the thread, I welcome all input!
He looks to have done an amazing job on yours, as well.
Mine looked like it was still attached to a hood while being hauled around in the back of a truck. On a rough gravel road. There were a few spots where the material was worn right through, like a belt sander had worked it. Then it must have been left outside for years because it was very sun fried and faded. Now it looks new. I’m still shaking my head.

Yeah that is some really amazing work, well worth the price and wait. Some people are just good at what they do.
