Not sure if anyone saw this, but it looks like a lot of the concept car recreations that the Beinekes built are up for sale on this site?

I remember getting the issue of Mopar Action with JETX on the cover in high school and it is probably one of the main things that pulled me to really look at the 71-72 b-bodies. I wish I were in a spot I could afford it or the white G-series Charger.

Time to cash out...
The current economic expansion is over 10 years old!!!
(Remember the Great Recession ended in 2009)

At some point the economy will plateau and go down. That's how the economy works.
Sell now, buy your stuff back when its worth less! lol...

Cool cars, BTW.

Gary and Pam have decided to focus more on racing, and are building another funny car for land speed racing. They bought a new Hellcat Challenger Redeye widebody, and have decided to sell off their classic street cars, because the new Challenger does everything that they do,and takes up a lot less space. They sold their GNX that they bought new in 87,and are also selling their 96 Viper GTS as well.

I read where noted long time collector Tim Welborn, sold sold of his super cars at a Mecom auction while back. He has been it for quite a while and he is not an old guy like me, wonder whats up?
I have never seen those 71 winded cars in person but read about them, super cool builds!

I think the wing and nose fits the 71 body much better than the earlier body. Just flows with lines and shape better.

Hey, the Viper is the cheapest car on the page!

Wind tunnel studies suggest otherwise.
The 69 Daytona was superior to the 1971 Dodge and Plymouth bodies.
The "A" pillar design on the '71 and later B Bodies kills aero.
Even with the nose and wing !!

You are correct sir.... everything is going up crazy. Scrap metal dropped here super low, one of the things that happened in 08

Scary stuff

I have always read that the large wheel opening on the 71 B Body is what had the negative effect on its aero. I love the looks 69 and 71 both, but I do see a great look with his 71 winded build.

I admit I have read the Mopar mags for years but gave them up 15 years ago or so mainly!!!!!! Same BS over and over mostly. Just because some guy wrote it in a mag does not make it true!!!! lol But it makes sense. Those wheel openings do seem BIG!!

Gary has pictures of his cars in the wind tunnel, on his site 71 wingcars.com. He never said that the wheel wells were an issue. He has run 208 mph with his car. They opened up and flared the wheel wells on the second generation Charger racecars up to atleast the same size as a stock 3rd generation Charger, or larger.

I love the Serpent! I’m not big on customs, but these cars are awesome! I wonder how much for the Serpent!
