New to the mopar side, but not to the American muscle. I own and have owned planty of A body's A body chevelles that is but have always liked the Dodge chargers also and wish I would of pulled the trigger 20 years ago on buying one. I would of saved A lot of coin.
I just bought and had delivered today my next project. I haven't broke down the complete fender tag yet. But it is a true RT, 440 car.
I will try to post a couple pictures maybe some of you will know the car. As I said I've always been a Chevy guy simple and stout to me, 10 bolt 12 bolt etc. Maybe a dumb question to some but I don't mind the abuse so question is how to tell the difference in the rearend 8 1/4 vs 8 3/4.

Welcome from NY.
That's a great way to start!
That's a 8-3/4" rear. No rear cover solid round from the back.
A 440 would shred an 8-1/4

Welcome from Alabama, lose the shocks. Hope the information below helps.

Thx, That helps alot!.. I'm probably not going to do a lot to the car for a while other than documenting and maybe an urge to see if Itll run. I have one other project in front of it. Story is its been parked since at least 2002

welcome from s carolina

Wow impressed no chevy digs lol... Yes I noticed the extensions also which I have never seen before. I'm going to pull all the numbers off the engine a tag tomorrow and post. Description of car said owner said thought it was a wedge but being 6 valve cover bolts tell me different if I read it right on the forum

Welcome from Minnesota. I agree change the shocks. Enjoy the project. Lots of differences between Chevs & Mopars.

Welcome from Missouri!! Nice car!!

I came out to Mich in August for the Roadkill drags, couldn't drag my brick out but hope to.I also didn't stay for the Cruise weekend. Stayed in Troy and wish I didn't goof off as much as I did because there is so much cool things to see in the Detroit area. I hope to make it again with a group of Mopars from these parts. I did get to meet some awesome guys and a few friends from the forums!!
