I need some minor machine work, its such a hassle not to mention very expensive to get anything done.
So if anyone is competent has a lathe and a milling machine, wants to make some extra money send a PM.
I have a old Atlas drill press. The spindle pulley broke. The bore size is 15/16 with a 1/8 key
I cannot find a step pulley anywhere and ive looked on and off for some time.
I just ordered a step pulley with a 7/8 bore, the key is I think 1/4 inch.
So if there is enough meat I want the pulled bored out to fit the shaft and then the shaft key slot milled to fit the pulley OR turn down the shaft and mill the 1/4 slot.
Its not something thats going to be doing heavy work, its a bench top press. The parts are all easily going to fit in a small box.
Whatever you feel for your time is fine by me, just need it done right.
Pictures to follow shortly

BTW thats not the pulley, its on order. Just posted for clarity\
Only the area were I marked, the other area is were a bearing sits

I can design and make almost anything you need. See some of my pics. I am currently making a transmission pan. 727. It's not finished, but it's getting close. I'm going to be sending it to be anodized on Monday. The other parts are currently on my car. If it's not your style, that's fine, I don't advertise because most people are closed minded about modifying an old Mopar. I guess they can afford something better than what i bought. Let me know what you think. I'm going to send several pics of different parts. Please keep in mind, these are not for the restoration crowd.

Thank you
Rob

I know I bought a lathe and mill since I started the restoration of my 70 Charger. Comes in so handy making a few custom parts and custom tools.

Yes . . . I can help you out with the work . . Check out my lathe upgrades in the tool section - had to do the same thing to get my lathe up and running again
