AMD discontinuing Mopar parts

and they are dumping the existing stock of quarter skins at 1/2 price by the looks of things.

I wasn't planning on buying quarter skins just yet, but damn I got a hell of a deal!

Wow. I"m quite surprised by all the A body stuff that will no longer be made. There were a pile of those cars made with a very strong following.

Mostly early A/B body stuff and A body stuff in general but man....it seems the stuff will only be needed more in the future as original stuff dries up. Wonder if low sales was the leading issue?

Well that sucks but that is a lot of inventory/money and if the sales are not there I suspect they don't have a lot of choice.

Lots of 70-76 Duster, Demon, and Dart stuff going by the wayside. Hopefully Goodmark will step up their quality to fill the gap, but I doubt it.

Maybe not alot of guys are spending the coin on the far rotted A bodies vs. finding a semi solid car due to the cost vs. final value deal. Those cars don't bring the coin and when you sink 8,000 in sheet metal into them, your backwards cash wise. I mean there are a few guys that do it outta love and sentimental value, but most probably say not worth it and find a solid car or something atleast semi solid....just a guess? :D

Possibility of them coming back but probably not for a good while. I doubt they will get rid of the tooling and if demand comes back up, they make a run and sell like hotcakes. Supply and demand

This is the beginning of the end IMHO.

Another company panicking over the impending doom from the advent of the electric car, and the demise of the gasoline vehicle. :(

I believe the popularity of the muscle car is fading away. Anybody in it for the investment might want to think about selling.
(But I could be wrong, it happens all the time).

Seems like it took them forever to make 63-65 quarter panels and now POOF!! there gone. Real short run

Curious. Dad got an email from them direct this morning "50% off" the list. We were kicking around buying another set of 68 barracuda quarters. Get to the site this afternoon everything's back to full price, and showing in stock. So I called them. "We sold the hell out in three hours, and whats left the price is the price" is what I was told. Seems odd.

Sounds like it was a good way to get rid of stock that wasn't moving.

Nothing to see here, move along.

The list didn’t come up for me. I interested in the quarter panels on a 64 Plym if they’re discontinuing them
