If you go, you may be quarantined upon return to the states.
Quarantine or hold in our return or... only God know what else, we cancel the hotel today and tomorrow I'll see what I can do with the plane and train tickets, I hope British airways be comprehensive with this situation and reschedule or refund our tickets, so far is been a communicate about refunds to Japan and China but not Italy, I'll update you tomorrow guys, and thank you for all your advices, love being here.

The other major issue also is, not being able to return to the States. Lots of that going on....

I'd pay the fee to change the tickets you might be ok since your a month out still ! I wouldn't chance it . And could you really enjoy yourself knowing one a hole gets near you or touches the food you eat will get you sick !!!

A flu shot? It won't help. A flu shot works only on the strain it was made for. There is no vaccine for this strain.

I manage to talk to the airline, am pretty much screwed on this, they only refund me like 5% of the total that I paid for, since I booked the flight in mid June I have only a year since the purchase to reschedule the flight, am not travel in June, so, like a man, face my loss and move on, it's only money, no sweat, if I can pay once I can pay twice, although I really want to go to Florence, you propose and God dispose and this is the case.

That’s a bummer Leon. But you’re right it’s only money and your health is worth more than that. Go to Florence Colorado instead. It’s nice this time of year .... Florence Italy will be next year.

It sure sucks that you lost money but potentially losing your life or your wife is big picture and can not put a dollar value on it...

Bullshit. You tell them to make it right, or you will raise holy hell on social media. That will get their attention

My wife and I just celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary last January, I want to surprise her and I get a credit to go to Italy in exactly one month, now due the turn of events with Covid-19 am tempted, really tempted to cancel the trip, but everything is paid for, plane tickets, hotel, train tickets, that's a lot of money for me, what would you guys do ?
Ask for my money back due to the circumstances!

Really? That works? Am old fashioned and this is my only social media, and I don't think they care if i raise hell here

Hell ya it works! They dont have to know this is your only social media account. Go give em hell, cabron!!
