Author Clive Cussler wont be down...

Never heard of Clive, until this thread popped up yesterday, and yeah, do not have the life style to relax, and sit back and read for pleasure, most of my reading content goes to tech articles and wiring diagrams. Caught a bit of the Expedition Unknown, show on Discovery channel last night. The episode was based on the DC-4 missing in lake Michigan, lost on June 24 1950. Well up pop's, Clive's name, and pictures, apparently, he was a bit of a treasure hunter, and donated time and money, to try and locate the wreckage.
Quite the story, worked at Douglas back in the 80's, so, that episode did catch my eye.
He was indeed a treasure and shipwreck hunter. Very active in searching for wrecks of all eras..

I can safely say that I've read every one of his books over the years. All outstanding!

Always enjoyed his books ! I read all of the ones he wrote. I didn't really warm up to the co-written ones. RIP Clive

For a bump up on books. 'Code of Conduct' by Brad Thor. Copyright 2015 . Virus (kinda like Ebola), but pertinent. Some of these authors are so priescent (?)

RIP Clive. I read most of his novels and even bought a Doxa dive watch after learning about them through Dirk Pitt. Sad loss.
