Anyone use the dash pad replacement from classic Industries for a 73 Charger? I'd like to get some feedback on fit and quality before forking out $700.

What about upholstery shops? Any luck getting the metal core recovered?

Thanks

Get in touch with Bob Baker of ABC Moparts and see if he can take of your needs. He has provided us with three of 71 B-Body dash pads and customers have been very happy. Unlike the inferior ABS core pads, Bob actually is able to take a factory core and rebuild it with new padding and covering. The grain texture is not 100%, but neither is anyone's else product if that is a concern. You would have to be super knowledgeable of these cars to detect the grain difference.

As stated Bob at ABCMoparts is the guy. In Kingman AZ. Great service, price and pads.
Classic and Year One gets their pads from someone else.

I hadn't realized that some of these places do their own work. I thought, like most stuff, they all got their supply from the same source. Nor did I realize they were recovering factory cores.

I think I'll go with ABCMoparts then. $450 is reasonable if the quality is good.

Thanks for the suggestions.
