Picked up this amazing gem last summer, and the restoration has just begun. Though she deserves a full frame off restoration, I just don't have the money for that. It is being done right though.

Car is VERY solid with minimal rust.

Spec are in my sig. I am hoping to make it up to Canada in the next year or so to meet the original owner.

Hope you all enjoy.

Myrtle what a find ! I thought I didnt like green until I picked up a #'s matching F8 70 Coronet 500 this summer, I love those front buckets too, think these are modded seats ? Cool !! Great car and seems to me you're treating her well :) ! Congratulations, it'll be fun to watch your progress !

Anyone else have this problem?

Bought another project before I even finished the first one and am losing interest in the first one?

Erringly similar to my 70 GTX (now I regret not going with the white stripe when it was in paint and body) These two car will look so cool next to each other.

GG1, white stripe. #s Matching engine and 4 speed, 96K original miles. 1 owner car. Fully documented. This car is a great survivor and 95% rust free. Super solid New Mexico car. Really torn on what to do with the rear qtrs. Leave them as is or patch? Trunk floor looks really good too. Really impressed with this car.

Patina looks great and the test section I waxed came out amazing for 50 year old paint.

Did the first GTX come out of northern BC?

Looks like one that some guys from Surrey pulled out of a barn in northern BC and immediately put on craigslist. Had a bad dent on the front fender and mismatched wheels, though it had a grill. Was 4 speed car as well. They were asking $25000 Canadian for it. I had called but never went to see it. Can't remember where exactly they found it.
