Just like the pictures in my 69 books show. That's weird. I suppose the 67 and 69 lower radiator supports are the same and they mistakenly put the wrong shield pics in the 69 books.

Looks like the '69 Polara and Imperial have a shield that looks like your FSM, the Coronet only has the one I installed. Unfortunately there is nowhere, in that 5" thick parts book, that shows the hardware to install it.

I would have to put a trap door in it to get the oil filter out. With the aux trans cooler line in the way there is no way to get it out the top. Anyone with that shield have a problem removing the BB or RB oil filter?

It goes in FRONT of the radiator, not behind it!

I have to agree with the consensus - my Coronet looks just like the photos. Only have the one piece air shield.

You can use approximately 3/8 “ to 1/2 “ long bolts. I have an original guard in very good condition, I would sell reasonably if anyone is interested.
