Location
Jasper, GA.
The upcoming Indy Cylinder Head Show is only two months away and features many of the larger restoration and performance vendors in the industry along with a good mix of used and NOS parts. The show has for the past several years, has been a sell out with all available spaces being used and it should be no different this year.

If you guys would like to have some form of a meet up at our location or some where else, just let me know and we can develop some plan for the event. Last year, we had a number of members meeting up and introducing themselves.

I will also be posting under our Vendor Promotions some special pricing for the event and am open to your suggestions. The event will be here soon, so let me know of any ideals or plans to make the event more enjoyable.

Thanks,
Richard

The vendor spaces may have been sold out, but i thought attendance for 2019 was MUCH less than 2018. In 2018 i stood in Amd's lines ( inside to buy, and outside to pick up) for a long long time. Where as in 2019 Amd & others hardly had a line. There were also fewer cars on display in the back. In 2018 i ftoze outside waiting to get in. It went much quicker in 2019.

I’ll be there. Didn’t get to go last year because of health problems. Went probably the last 15 years or so, usually find a few things that I can’t live without. Always run into a few friends. Where do you setup, bfan?

Richard, do you have any info for swap meet signup for the 2020 show? I've always went before as a buyer, never a vendor. This year I'm thinking of taking some parts down to sell, but can't find any info on reserving a swap space online? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Does this help any?

@PRND21 we are over in the second building. When you enter from building one into the second building, look right and we are down on the far right wall in the corner. We are easily found, we fill up seven spaces with weatherstripping and a variety of other restoration parts.

@Mopars & Missiles I would suggest calling Deanna at the 317-862-0226 number on February 1st to see what spaces were not renewed. Past vendors from last year have until January 31st to renew the spaces for this year. I would call early on that Saturday morning, the first, as like many shows, guys are now buying a space to get the chance to come in on Friday or to come in on Saturday early to scope out the buys. That is one reason that last year, you saw some empty spaces on the floor.

The show did seem a bit slower last year, but I know that from approximately 10 AM til 2 PM, we were very busy. For those attending the show for the first time, I would stress that Saturday is the day to attend. Even though it is marketed as a Saturday / Sunday show, a larger number of the guys with smaller inventories will pack up on Saturday late afternoon and not come back on Sunday.

Still for basically a one day show for selling, it is a good show in that we drive the 530 plus miles one way to attend the event. Hopefully the new management of Indy will also strive to improve the event as well.

Just a month away for the Indy show. We have already had a good response for deliveries to the show. I will post some special pricing for the members here as this will be our 2020 kick off show.

Just as a reminder, if you guys are wanting to put together some type of meet and greet, then I have no problem with our location being the meet point. Our swap spaces are actually directly across from the food / concessions area and there is a good size area that is empty so as not to interfere with others. I can likewise extend and invitation to the FABO and FEBO group as well. This might help in bringing the groups together as I know that I see some of the same names over on those sites. Possibly we can continue to talk up the Carlisle tent experience as we are approaching 150 days to Carlisle.

Just let me know what works best for the group and we will make it happen. Post your suggestions here or drop me a message.

Looking forward to the show!

Lots of you guys have been wondering if it is worth your efforts to drive out to the Indy Show. Deanna sent me the list of the vendors that has signed up for the event. That does not include those who are registered as regular swap meet entrants. It is a good show, so hope to see you guys there!!
