Champion Rj12y on 440 blew complete inside out and left plug wire boot hanging never saw this before

I've had that happen before with Champions, but part of the porcelain was still attached. The engine may have been detonating at the time though. Either way, now I only use Champion on lawn mowers.
On a positive note, weld an air quick connect to it and now you have a tool to hold the valves closed for spring changes.
