If that Satellite is as solid as it looks from the one pic, I wouldn't let the distance away from you deter you from inquiring about it. If it is what you are looking for... Shippers are out there, just will take time to find the right guy to haul it for you. Don't go through a broker.
I don't mean to debate this with the previous post, but would from my own experience highly recommend 4 Corners Transport out of the Seattle area. He is indeed a broker. I've used him several times with great success and hauling a non running vehicle is not an issue. Virtually every car I've had him haul for me was missing the engine. His pricing has always been competitive and the best part about it is you only pay him his cut at the time the load is scheduled and you pay the trucker the balance upon delivery.
One time we were having trouble getting a pickup completed in Southern CA and this broker put part of his commission on the hauling side to help get the run done. He actively manages the haul all the way to the end. Each driver he'd used for mine was a good, careful, conscientious guy.
I'd tried other big name firms who wanted full payment up front and was very unhappy with the service and frankly their attitude. They were peaches and creme until they got paid, then it was "We'll get to it when we get to it".
Look up transportreviews.com and you can see feedback for all sorts of haulers. It's a great help in getting to the right decision. Previous advice is otherwise right on: it's better to find a solid builder and pay a little more up front getting it to your door. I learned that the hard way years ago.

Sounds like a good company to use. Wish I would have found a place like that several years ago when shipping non op cars. I had just terrible luck and service with quite a few different brokers, to the point I said I would never use one again.
Glad I didn't offend you. Ironically, the one time I used a known carrier (DAS) it was a disaster. Plus, I'd scheduled them because the 1st known carrier, who took my money up front and couldn't make the pickup, and then tried like heck to keep the $ because of contract verbiage. It took me days to get my money back. DAS did pickup close to on time. They then apparently put my car through at least 2 transfers to other rigs. This car was a runner. 3 speed on the tree. They got it stuck in 3rd gear and somewhere along the way left the lights on. Car showed up 4 days later than they'd claimed I'd see it, filthy dirty, dead battery and fried clutch. Their big spiel was real time satellite tracking. When I called expressing concern about the load going well out of the way (like a couple states further South) and then sitting for 2 days, their response was to turn off the tracking.
