Starter heat shield ideas

The front brakes are done. We started working on the rear suspension. Installed 1" lowering springs along with Koni shocks. Changed out all the rubber bushings for poly. Got a little hung up because now the trailing arm bushings are off by 1/8" in the mounting brackets. I have the panhard rod secured hand-tight and upon research I need to disconnect it completely to release all preload on the suspension. Should finish up this weekend.
Curious as to where you bought your springs? You probably posted it before, but what size tires and wheels are you running on your Coronet?

Joel, if you mean the Opel springs, I get all my parts from Opel GT Source - ogts.com. Gil is the owner, passionate about Opels.
The rear tires are 295/60-15. 4" backspace. Running new Super Stock leafs and Bilstein shocks with no rubbing at all. I believe the fronts are 235/60-15 but I'll check tonight when I get home.

Dave - The Opel is back on the road. The 1" lowering is a good look with the 15" wheels. Next up is replacing the front transverse spring with a 1" drop.

This car is testing my resolve. Put gas in it tonight and when I went to fire it up - no crank. There's power to the interior/dash board and the FiTech prime shot goes off. But dead silence at the starter. Turned the key to Run, jumped the starter relay with a screw driver and it started right up. Drove it home, parked in the garage, shut it down, turned the key and it started right up! It was getting late so I didn't feel like troubleshooting tonight. I can only be two things right: ignition switch (and the yellow wire b/h connection), or the NSS (or harness)? If the screwdriver trick works then doesn't that imply that the relay is good?
 
Actually, no.
The ignition switch gets blamed but I have rarely ever found one to be a problem.
Starter relays are subject to the elements and heat. By crossing the terminals, you are bypassing the connection that they make internally.
 
Started and drove the car several times now, including into work today. No issues.
