Well I shut the passengers side door and the drivers side window shattered. Never seen this before. So I just went in the house and I am seriously considering getting hammered lol.

Today, I put new rear shocks on the 2007 Commander and was amazed that the upper shock bolts looked brand new.
I also took the winter tires off the Neon. Good to be rid of those ugly black steel wheels for a while.

Installed the Wuhan starter today & installed the pitman arm on the Steer & Gear gearbox. Tomorrow going to tackle a leaking PS reservoir seal & dripping lower radiator hose.

I’m also working on the little Signet today, trying to get it back together and off to its new home. Side trim back on, wheel lips next. Tomorrow will be the carb and the rest of the ignition system. Hoping to have it running by Sunday night.

It doesn't have a windshield or a back glass yet. I cant figure it out. But smile and go on about 150.00 more in this money pit. But that is the game.

that must be some cabin, huh?

@cosgig

Is that a factory 4 barrel Signet?

I've only ever seen a few of those.

I decided to put a screen/grill on my hood scoop, I've had enough debris fly at my windshield to want to protect what's under my hood as the opening is large enough to let something in.

6"x36" sheet, cut to size. That gives me enough for a second attempt if I need it.

Even though I made a cardboard template there was still a fair amount of cutting to size as the inside of the scoop is not all that uniform in shape and the mesh will need to be altered all around on each opening.

It was my plan to use rare earth magnets to hold it in place as they have a strong connection but they don't stick, so I may use a 2-part epoxy even though I wanted to be able to remove it.. I'll figure it out.

I like the way it looks though.

Well the magnets won't stick because it's aluminum but before you epoxy the mesh into place, consider using that epoxy to stick the magnets to the edges of both the mesh and the scoop opening.

It does look nice.

The original material I was going to use would've worked with the magnets, when I came across this I liked it more as it was a more finished product. I think I'll use the epoxy and shape it on the sides and bottom so it can be pushed into place and "lock" in, then bent slightly and lifted if I want to get it back out. If that proves to be to difficult then I may just do it in key spots so that I can cut it out if I need/want to.

New roof rail seals. But they fit very nice and the gap was perfect at the top.
Are the stops adjusted. after glass replaced, close door crank up glass. open door will go up further? But I also seen it happen if shop het is on glass, interior stays cooler. Or simply tired glass from age?
