The pillar trim on my new (to me) '69 GTX convertible is in less than desirable condition, I'm guessing that the trim for a coupe/hardtop will not fit?
Anybody sell them new?

This were re-popped a few years ago in a limited number. I bought a set on eBay. Check there and buy em if you see em because they’re hard to find.

Yes, the convertible ones are unique to themselves and pretty hard to find since they have stopped repopping them

What's wrong with yours? They are stainless & can be straightened, polished... Basically made better than new...

Sorry, maybe the wrong name, its the inner plastic trim piece, not the outer SS one

Def different from the hard tops. Pretty sure they don’t repop those. Not sure how bad yours are but you might be able to get them fixed.

Thanks for all the replies, I have fixed a few cracks, and will be trying to splice a couple of pieces of scrap ABS plastic to fill in missing sections. Nothing to lose I guess.

Or you could start a wanted ad. Maybe someone here has a spare ot two.

Excellent idea. If I remember correctly Tony’s Parts made a run of these plastic trim parts. They, the parts not Tony’s, ended up being sold off. I found and bought a set for like $250-300 on e-bay a few years back. I recently sold the old set to a great member here. If I find the sellers receipt from e-bay I’ll post the information here.

Ok, here's the thing.. 2dr trim is completely wrong & doesn't fit at all.... Thats because the windshield angle on a vert isn't the same as a 2 dr....
Well a 2dr windshield doesn't fit either...

But a 4dr windshield does... And so does the lower 90% of the trim... So if your upper section is decent you can get the lower section off a 4dr..

I few years ago I got a reproduction center console body, and the inside plastic A-piller trim for my '69 Coronet Convertible.
I think from Tonys auto parts

For the outside stainless trim, I don't think it is being reproduced?
Look on www.rtspecialties.net, They had some nice trim taken off another convertible.

Also, www.beaparts.com
