Hello again sorry to be a bother but i need 3 more measurements urgently as i need the position of the shifter so my panel beater can finish off all welding. The first measurement needs to be from the front floor seam to the back of the shifter bracket pictured and the second and third need to be from the pinch welt seam to the side of the shifter bracket one at the front side of the bracket & another back side of the bracket just to make sure they mounted these straight from the factory and not some certain angle thanks all much appreciated.

Just a suggestion. My Coronet had a new floor pan when I bought it, but never had the console brackets welded in.

What I did was bolted in the buckets.
Then bolted all of the brackets to the console.
Hook up all of the shifter linkage.
Aligned the torque shaft in the center of the hole in the floor.
Aligned the console forward and backward so the shifter lined up with the characters in the console plate.
Then aligned the console left and right between the buckets.
Then I tack welded all 3 brackets.
Then removed everything and welded everything.

It's more work, but you will be guaranteed that everything will line up perfect.
If you weld the shifter in, the holes in the console are not slotted, so you don't have much adjustment.

Mine is a 66 floor pan and the brackets are factory installed. The first measurement is 21 1/2" and the second and third are 30 3/4" from the outside of the pinch weld. I do agree with JimCoronette however.

I've got the gear box in & lined up , the shifter hole is cut out linkage running in through the floor & is hooked up to the gear box but now i want to get the main shifter bracket lined up now tack that in then bolt the other brackets to the console and then go from there.

Is that 19 1/2 inches too the rear of the bracket too the front or too the mounting hole ?

Funny, I'm not sure myself.

What should help is on the third picture, it's 11.25" from the very front of the shifter bracket to the pinch weld.
