Do the studs on the back of the pump that the bracket bolts to require Teflon tape to keep fluid from leaking out. They appear to be going into the fluid chamber

There should be flat o rings on the inside of the canister.

yes what he said, and no Teflon...

Flat o rings? I have a new brackets with all the bolts from classic industries and a new pump I don’t have any O-rings I bought some new O-rings for the high-pressure line that screws into the back of the power steering pump but I do not know what flat O-rings you’re talking about

Are the flat rings for the studs for the rear bracket? Between the stud and the pump housing

Gotta pull the pump from the canister, once that is done, you’ll see where the flat o rings go.

Yea I understand that now, my pump came as an assembly, just had to mount it in the brackets. All is working right now and no leaks
