Here is the time slip from my 6th and final run obtaining my NHRA Competition License at the recent NHRA March Meet at Famoso (Bakersfield) CA.
Also shown is a picture of the car on the official NHRA certified scales at the same meet showing 3035lbs (with no driver but with 10 gallons of fuel in the cell).'
Like I posted previously the chassis of my car was not set up yet for transbrake launches at 5500rpm. This time slip was launching the car off the footbrake at 1500rpm idle. Should be quite a bit better with the transbrake but that is for a different day.

wow it makes big power on the back half of the track. 118 to 143 mph very nice.

Congratulations Mike what size tire & gear ratio are you running !
Tire is Hoosier 14x32 with 105" rollout and gear ratio is 4.56.
Shift 1-2 and 2-3 both at 7200 and go thru traps at 7300.
Still haven't used the transbrake. Will be launching off the transbrake at 5500rpm and car should get 1.26 (or so) 60 foots and put it into the very high 8.90's...but the transbrake is for the next outing. I need to replace the springs on my rear coilovers to a light 115lb spring. Current springs are way to stiff to launch off the transbrake.

Nice car, I'm not an expert on Hemi's at all but something I don't quite get here with that ticket, I can understand dropping the 60 in the 1.2's will pick ET up of course and get you in the 8's probably, but reading through some posts it says the motor made 1011 on the dyno@around 7100?. So if your shifting it at max hp/rpm 1>2/2>3 you should with a soft launch still run through@150+ and not 143 which is only 810fwhp/3255lbs. So either the motor is making power well past that 7100 or the dyno was optimistic, some motors need to be revved way past max and still go faster, wonder if thats the case here?..would answer the lack of mph....and if its really 1011hp it should run 8.60's@155+ once dialed and an all out run trapping@around 7700 with slip in theory....just interested.

I am mystified by the way motors react going down the fkn track. Yup, the computer programs say it should run 8.60 at 150 but...I believe there must be a 1.25 (or so) 60 foot to get the whole mess moving down the track. I won't really know until my next outing with lighter springs in my coilover Alston Shocks to be able to launch at 5500rpm.

5 possibilities for low 1/4 mph. Rpm is lower than the intended operating range. Motor is making less than expected. Remember dyno HP is corrected for weather. 10-15% less is common in actual conditions. Converter is inefficient or broken. Track mph clocks are wrong. Heavy head wind. I have had 60 ft fall off a .10 do to poor track conditions. Mph stayed the same. What stands out to me here is low 1/4 mph with decent 1/8 mph numbers. It certainly looks like the first half is working pretty decent for the 60ft. Something is wrong with the back half mph. The ET gain in the back half looks normal. To be honest the entire slip looks like a 146/147 mph run to me. If it were my car I'd say the clocks are off. Or you lifted slightly before the finish line. This is based on over 600 time slips in this ET/mph range.

Thanks for your input.

For comparison, my nitrous combo ran 6.10@116 and 9.51@143 at 4100# with a crappy 1.48 60’ using 3.73 gears on a 2.75 radial and I figured it at about 1050-1100hp on the spray.
I sold the engine and it went into a car similar in weight to yours (guessing here) and went
1.35 60’
6.26 @ 110
9.81@ 136.46
In its first pass out with no nitrous

it was a little 274@050 street roller cam and might’ve made 770-800 on motor alone.

Mike that's going to be one heck of a ride when you put it on the brake.

I notice a balance beam scale.....? Haven't seen one of those in a group of time!

My experience with Web Site Calculators (such as the Wallace site) are very accurate on some items but way off on others. I think the web site calculators are way off on saying my car should hit 150 to 155 mph. Just my thouights and I think I might have a lot of guys agree with me....

In my case I think Wallace is a little optimistic for the ET. Their MPH is a touch low. My actual back half numbers exceed the Wallace estimate. That being said I have no dyno numbers. Only weight and time slips. When running index I know 5.86-5.87/660, 7.69-7.70/1000ft is almost always 9.25 +/-.005. Wallace says 5.87/660, 7.70/1000 is a 9.28-9.29

The slip looks like the time slip from my Arrow with my spare motor. Leaves hard but doesn't have the top end power. A bit of tuning will get you there. The brake will give you at least .01 in 60'. Tinkering will give you the top end.
