...hows that generator looking? Power, and water will be an issue soon if riots occur in the big cities. Dry goods.
Which generator? I have 2. One tied into the house 8K and one for the 5th wheel 4K. Also we have a 1000 gal cistern and a well. Also 2 wood stoves 6 acres of timber. We have a lot of dry goods too. I have never lived in a city so keeping supplies is a must. I have fed a herd of deer for 15 years so I guess if they had to feed me I wouldn't be beyond that either. But I don't worry about this sort of thing. GOD takes care of us always has always will.

When I was around 12, my Grandfather and I went to look at a lawn tractor that was advertised in the paper. We wound up the side of this hill and when we got to the top he told me this was the only place in the county that had white tail deer after the depression.

What was he implying- that they were all hunted out during the depression?

When the rest of the world was fighting for tp and soap my wife was stocking up on dog food and I hit the liquor store for some Crown Royal.
With the madness clearing out stores and shutting everything down, what supplies did you not want to go without?
Nothing.

Good on food and essentials, Went through the tools and then stocked up on ammo.

Good times. Glad you have it covered. As for me, I'll have to gut it out with many of our fine Americans is a suburban environment. We'll do our part to keep it together.

Just got back from Costco. Almost no fresh meat, only filet mignon and nasty warm water lobster tails. Forgot king crab legs.
