It is time for me to replace my antiquated AM/FM/SW radio.

Any suggestions on brand and model? I need a mobile one and preferably waterproof. Cost doesn't matter, but quality does.

Thanks in advance. DeltaV

X2 on C Crane. I've had one for quite a while, testing it in all kinds of terrain and weather, it works like a champ.

Ordered!

I agree with C Crane.
They always sell the best for the money radios.

I have a Sangean AM/FM table radio, its not digital, like a older radio and it is excellent quality, great sound
Synthesizers (digital tuners) add phase noise to the received signal. In the analog radio world the ol'superhetrodyne analog tuner performs best.

BTW I have a few Zenith Transoceanic radios. Performance cannot be matched on sensitivity and selectivity.
C Crane radios are sangean sourced. Bob Crane demands great performance and the CC brand performance is very good.
