What did you stock up on?

Ordered on line first time from our supermarket. They had everything we wanted today. We live on an island with about 20,000 people so it seems the hoarders haven't got to us... yet. We didn't need a lot but it was good to see the store is stocked. Went there, popped the trunk, and they threw it in and I was off, never getting out of car. Left a couple bucks in the trunk but the kid said he couldn't take it. Wife always makes homemade bread, so stocked up on flour for the duration.

A bit confused, Day 4 in my search at my local stores in Monroe NY. No toilet paper to be found. I must be surrounded by **** heads.

I just finished my daily dose of Gentleman Jack. I bought it last Saturday on the advice of my friend, the nurse. He recommended it to sanitize your throat and open your sinuses. Even my non-drinking wife uses it now to ward off the bad germs.

Just the important stuff.

Went to the local WalMart today here in Mexico. There were about twice the normal number of customers. Picking up my cart outside along with another family, I asked them if they planned on purchasing toilet paper. They answered no.

Entering the store with my shopping basket, a WalMart employee sprayed and wiped down the handle of my cart with some disinfectant. Of course, I had already touched the handle when I grabbed the cart outside. There at the entrance was that Gel stuff and a sign, so everyone squirted some gel on before shopping.

The Gel and ground beef were out of stock, which my spouse had put at the top of the list. Beforehand, I had denied her request to purchase more toilet paper.

Everything else seemed to be there. The Ol' Roy Dog Food kibble (WalMart's brand) was out of stock again, but it has always been out of stock about 50% of the time I shop there. There were hundreds of bags of other brand dog food.

One had to be a little careful going around the aisle corners because of the overflow, but everyone was calm and polite. I purchased baby wipes, three packs of meat, vinegar, potatoes, V-8, water, bread, a roasted chicken, garlic, napkins, paper towels; the usual stuff.
