so i know this thing is a pile,
it looks like 9th graders put it together and its beat already and has rotty framerails...but
im seriously thinking about getting this to flog.
does anyone know the History of this car?

the current owner says it was modified for a movie,but no info.
and no,he doesnt have the other rear fender.
ps.look at the interior pic of this drag car for a good laugh.

this was a racecar = no gauges at all in dash??
how fast are we going?
whats the engine taching?
whats the oil pressure and temp??
but Wait..we do have a stereo with graphic equalizer ??!!
is that so we dont hear the engine kicking a rod out at 7k rpm??
falls off couch laughing.

and yeah i was thinking bring it home strip all that crazy carp off and redo it,
as a coronet not what that weird rear fender is.
it would never be more than a toy but it might be fun and id save another one.

i do have a question for you gurus tho.
where on the body itself can i find the vin?
theres nothing under the hood or on the door pillar.

I'm not sure how much of the vin will be found stamped on the radiator support and on the trunk lip but there's normally numbers there.

ty i wasnt sure if 65 was like that or not.
thats exactly what im trying to find

My '62 only has SO numbers at those locations, same ones that match the fender tag. Not positive about the '65s.

The vin on mine is on driver side door post. I saw that on Craigslist and thought about it myself. You can buy most of the fiberglass panels that that car has except that hideous thing on driver side. Looks like u could almost say it needs almost everything but parts are probably worth asking price of 1000. Good luck and keep us posted!

rip the other side mess off and it wont look that bad......It has that weird 70s hot rod vibe. lots of good cars went bad in the 70s....

The vin number is not part of the SO number which is on the radiator core support in the early b-bodies
