Wheeeee, just went thru a 5.7 roller this morning. Nothing like Cali quakes but was enough to get your attention.
Mother adjusting the ole bra strap again....

Welcome to our world. A 5.7 is still a decent quake. Any damage at the epicenter?

News still coming in but yeah folks around the epicenter got the full effect of it. No deaths reported, mostly property damage but it's still fluid. The epicenter was just east of the Salt Lake, close to the airport. They've evacuated some of the bigger buildings and the airport from what I hear.
This wasn't as violent as some I felt living in San Diego. This was more of a roller not a shaker, you know what I'm talking about.

We got friends about 40 min from SLC on the airport side.

They are OK though.

I just saw an episode of "Pool Kings" on HGTV two nights ago, and a massive hillside pool had been built in Utah...I wounder if it survived.

mother natures roller coaster ride

glad to hear no serious injuries etc.

After going through the Big One in Alaska 1964, I pray to never experience another! God bless all those who live there.
