why do drug companies run so many annoying commercials?

Drug ads today, lawyers ads tomorrow asking if you or a loved have ever taken drug XYZ. It’s an endless circle jerk.
 
I also hate the TV adds from the personal injury lawyers with the class action law suites against the drug makers. Our local TV adds for personal injury lawyers suck too.
 
Cracks me up when the side effects sound worse then the medical condition. **** leakage - No Thanks

Agreed. A big circle jerk. The plan is to get everyone on some drug. And who knows what's in them? Just like vaccines.
But, without Pharma where would we be?

Yeah those commercials drive me nuts and notice a lot of them have people in slow mode...joked with the missus that maybe that's a side effect of the drug. Seems to me there was a law enacted a few years ago about doctors not being able to push drugs from their suppliers like they once did and getting some commission on it? If true then the drug co's worked around this to get the patients to market them to their doc...and we get no commission...
 
they took the alcohol and tobacco commercials off why do we have to watch these?
 
I have a good friend who is a lawyer. When they first allowed lawyers to advertise on TV, he said that's the final blow for us. Meaning a lot of people dislike lawyers as it is, this will make it worse. He was correct.
 
There's a law firm around my area the plays ads constantly and they're mostly all different as the guy is always in a different suit and tie with the jingle "one call that's all". Then he has kids on his ads saying that jingle. And these guys always have numbers that are 333-3333...444,etc. Then there's ads with people on them that look fine saying they got $300 or $400 grand settlements from car accidents...on the other end are people I know that got screwed when they should have been reimbursed.

Don't mind the mayhem, but libety bibity sucks. I just hated the one that the woman made a scratch so small, she could have fixed it with her pen. Then why the f didn't she.
