What’s Everyone Doing with Stock Portfolios?

Don’t energy or grocery stores. Energy is in a free fall and grocery stores even tho they’re selling a lot have razor thin margins and are unionized. Very poor bets. Not e erything is a good buy. Walgreens, railroads, healthcare and tech should be ok. Buy at your own peril tho.....

I'm buying ETF's today and everyday the market drops till I get to the bottom.
I also bought some ETFs. I purchased quite a few bank stocks as they never lose money in the long run. Finally, healthcare stocks are some of the few that actually seem to be bucking the trend.

Good move !! I also bought Walgreens and CVS. Wells Fargo is a good buy also. You will make money. This market right now is acting like we're in world war three. The difference is we're praying for 90 days and rebound and BIG money is banking on it.

:popcorn2:

any tips?

I believe no tips are needed, the market as a whole is down. Remember before the crash of 2008 the market was so hot you could pick almost any stock and make money daily. In the short run, I believe any good red, white, and blue stocks like, Coke, Pepsi, Anheuser Busch, Walgreen, CVS, Well Fargo will be buys at least till we get back to where we were, at that point all bets off. Just my opinion.

When it comes back to 25, I’ll consider the Hellcat purchase.

Not selling

bye bye bye,
I just bought some more Chevron stocks
hasn't been this low in decades, always done me well
as well as a few others

Just read that Bill Akers as in the billionaire Bill is betting $2.5 billion on the recovery. I hope he’s right. This market is a punisher. He’s buying large caps like Hilton, Lowe’s which are two that have been pounded even worse than some others. Starbucks and chipotle etc. He’s got brass balls. But that’s how he got to be so rich.

Still holding ......my dick now. Hope I get a hard on....

"What are the odds of that..." is the story of my life.

I'm having problems again getting insurance worked out on my warehouse.
Every year is an issue but it's a different issue and much more difficult this time.

This is the first year where I could use nearly all of my cash reserves to pay it off, but then I'd have nearly zero to invest in the down market.

The Dow is up 1500 points this morning based on the probable stimulus package. Let’s hope that was the bottom we just experienced at 18k. Can’t take too much more pain.

Getting close!! The next few days could tell.

If you've got extra money buy . If you have them hold and wait or you'll lose any of your previous gains .
It will take a few years to be even to where we were before this financial crisis .

The bounce in the market is temporary over the probable stimulus package, doesn't mean we're not at the bottom or near, but till we get an answer on the virus, I don't foresee it running back up yet, why, how can cruise ship stocks go up double digit over night when their nightmare has yet to bottom out, makes no sense.

I don't see the economy not coming back quick once we get a handle on all of this. The stimulus package will help keep business in a hover mode till things open up. Once you turn all these people loose who have been home bound, I believe there'll be a buying frenzy due to just getting out. Time will tell, it's just my opinion. The next few days after this bounce will tell if it goes back down and holds there. Holding is the sign we are looking for. I'm still buying now, but will buy like crazy if we get to a level that last more than a few days. I'm betting big on all of this and hope I'm right.

I finally dumped the one and only oil stock I had. It was a smaller company and will probably go out of business or absorbed by another.....1750 buck hit but my account which was only 5k to start with. Probably shouldn't even be in the market with an account that freakin small.

That was quite a bounce today at a +2100 pts on the Dow. A little breathing room. Wonder what happens in the next week. I don’t see that we’ve bottomed either. At least not to the point where it’s risk on for the big boys. I’m hoping we’re forming a base at 20k. Time will tell. Gray hair......

Hold on for the ride, Its going to be a bumpy one. As the virus starts getting under control, we should see a recovery happen quite swiftly I would wager.

Who is living off the 401/457? That’s the bonus pile. Let it sit.
