Gas prices are way down

Your $8 canadian milk jug would be $5.51 usd. Milk at my house in california is about $3.50 a gallon, at my arizona house, about $2.25.

1 gallon Canadian is ~4.55liters
1 gallon Canadian is 1.25 gallons us
therefore I us gallon is 4.55/1.25=3.64liters,about.

see? There the reason why Metric is easier. The same all around the world

Eggs are still sold by the dozen, go figure.

That's in all the world with some larger package exceptions, you can find 12 and 6 eggs packages everywhere In the world. But there is a reason for that, on middle age you could buy 1/2, 1/3 or 1/4 of eggs packages on markets and 12 is the only number able to be divided like that getting the eggs propperly. You can't get 1/3 or 1/4 of eggs from a 10 eggs package.

There is the reason some stuff packages ( not just eggs but the eggs were the first reason ) are sold by dozens, just trading simplicity.

We went to the small grocery store a few days
ago and 87 octane at the Shell gas station was $ 1.86.9
cents a gallon. That is the best price in a long while! I am going to town tomorrow for prescriptions, and will check the new price then.

It sucks that gas is cheap now and nowhere to go. ( rv has 80 gal tank, boat has 120 gal tank, state parks closed, closing boat ramps)

It sucks that you can't just stockpile this stuff. I suspect the gas may go bad before you'd use it all.

here in Mexico we pay a third of the gas price in taxes
Luxury.....ours is closer to 50% in taxes....and now we have a local fuel surcharge of 11 cents per litre to pay for "Infrastructure"

Our fuels have dropped even more in a week....Cheapest gas station around here - diesel is now $1.25 per litre and 91 regular gas is $1.93 per litre (a litre is just over one quart) ....all this while our dollar is on a race to the bottom.

easily put - I always get $40 in my vehicles at a time (takes advantage of promotions that run) and going from pumping just over 26 litres two weeks ago, to now getting just this morning 31.7 litres for the same amount of money. Quite noticeable.

I hope it keeps coming down some more.. cause I will consider taking my ramp truck hauler down there to the Shell Station and filler up, if I get rich! It will hold 66 gallons when totally empty..have a few on the road places to visit, if/when life gets back to a normalcy!!

Well, i look at it in this way, the gas prices down worldwide, is the only single good news in weeks for mankind, and the way things are moving, probably the only one.:(

Yikes - that’s a pretty penny per liter. I thought we had it bad in CA. We have by far the highest prices in the states. You guys are really getting robbed... I suppose part of it is you don’t produce(?) and thus get held hostage and then your tax structure. CA has very high taxes on fuel too but it’s not 50%.

Import costs....but mostly taxes. We have our own refinery, but it basically breaks down the imported product.

$1.31 in Moore, OK today. Dropped 10 cents in about one week. I just paid $1.70 for 91 octane no ethanol. It's usually about $2.45.

Last Friday when I went to a doc appt.. it was 1.72 at the Shell station for 87
octane, which is pretty good for our area. I am going to town tomorrow, for
prescriptions, so I will check the price then.

Saw $1.399 for 87 today. I do believe gasoline will keep for at least 6 months, maybe a year if you add stabilizer to it. I don't drain the gas in my riding mower, just add some stabilizer and have not had any problems.

Price is still dropping here in NZ...but we're not allowed to take advantage of it because we're all in Lockdown. :(
