So after doing an engine refresh on my 318, I decided to use a set of flowtech headers. The issue is that after I got them mounted up, they are in the way of the centerlink on the drivers side. It won’t ride over the top and the idler and pitman arms aren’t long enough for the centerlink to go under. Am I missing something?

Yes, a picture. Sometimes you can shim the motor mounts to increase the clearance. 440'

sounds like your missing the right kind of headers

I don't know what the difference is from 67 to 68 but you can check these out. Listed for 68 to 72 for the Coronet for the fast ratio but the stock replacement are listed for 65 to 72?

The same applies to the fast ratio idler arm

Look for a part number stamped on the header flange and compare that to the correct number for your car. As has been said, a few pictures would be helpful...

I’ll get some pictures posted up as soon as I can get back in the shop. I’ll also double check the number on the flange. Thanks guys
