While I'm drainng the radiator, I thought I'd throw this question out there. I have a drip from the #8 rear header bolt. Would it be best to remove both bolts from the head or just the offending bolt to apply sealant or tape. The question is would taking out the one end bolt only possibly warp the header or should I back off the other side also. The TTIs seem pretty stout and I may be over thinking this but I've got some time on my hands lately.

White Teflon sealant will take care of it. That's all I ever use.

Tks Doug, I'll try the tape. What's your take on removing the one rear bolt, think there's a chance of warping the header?

TTI header flanges are 3/8" thick. So, you can get away with taking out one at a time. Use a Teflon thread sealant like this:

Thank you guys. Will tackle this in the am. Appreciate the advice.

The preferred fix is to use studs on the first and last bolt holes. This also the way the factory did it. Easier to install gaskets, manifolds or headers. Just set the gasket on the studs and then the manifold/header. It holds it in place while you install the rest of the bolts. Pipe sealer on the stud threads before you install.

I'm with Doug. I use ARP thread sealer, which is a paste. No worries about pulling just the end bolt. 3/8" flanges on the TTIs. No need to use a full cooling system sealer, as we know where the leaks will be on Mopar heads...lol.
