Hi everyone- I just got a 69 Charger. Im going to be 38 soon and have wanted one forever. Its fortunate i was able to get this car! I found this forum while searching for pics of what people are up to doing their restoration work. Its originally a 318 car, is now a peppy 69 340/727 auto. Its got its original black interior that in pretty nice shape other than the headliner, all its power windows work. The body is surprisingly clean, floors, rails, its all nice -

The bad is someone cut the left quarter skin off as well as cutting out the trunk floor. And i bet they were not too bad either. The passenger side has a little rust, as well as the dutchman panel being bondo-ed up. But the rest is really exceptional! I'll try some pics soon.

The plan is both full 1/4s, dutchman panel, trunk floor, rear valance, corners, and probably the back crossmember while I am there.

Thanks everyone here who takes the time to share the work they have done!

If anyone recognizes those disc brakes please let me know who makes them!!

Damn nice start up project.

Throw a quarter on it and drive as is for awhile before tearing into it. Of course fix the mechanical issues too, enough to make it road worthy. It's not like you have a blank canvas to start with.

welcome from s carolina

There is a north jersey guy that will come to your house to install a headliner. He came down to me near Philly and did an awesome job on my headliner replacement. You buy the headliner and he does the rest. Are you a couple hours from north jersey?
