Books

A book on Amazon, fiction, called “Running Down the Dreams”. Story I found interesting mostly as it’s set in the early 60’s, gets into cars and music of the era, drag racing, drive-in’s, fights, with a paranormal angle about a mysterious dream girl. There’s a lot going on with the different characters to follow I had to keep up with; but some nice suspense, brought back a few memories from my youngster days.

Addendum, anything by Robert Crais. When it really gets "hairy" for the P.I., his Marine spec ops buddy comes to the rescue. All based in that West Coast bastion of "cleaning up smog, etc" But beautiful weather.

Something tells me that RC doesn't really know how to read anything other than memes.
One more I forgot.
"Alone at Dawn" by Dan Schilling and Lori Chapman Longfritz
First CMH award since the 70's for a USAF member. Above and beyond in my opinion.
I used to work with these guys from an intel standpoint but this book opened my eyes a little more. Great read.

Robert Crais, 'The Promise'. Had to pull out from "storage ", library closed. This is still California, a flashback page & also dogs!
