Hemi Super Bee Barn Find

Your point is well taken and I’ve tried to change the wording. For some reason it won’t let me edit it. So to those fender tag nerds that are offended I apologize. The comment wasn’t directed against those that are into originality. Most, if not all of us are. The comment was directed against those who condescend to those among us who don’t have, or necessarily want a numbers matching car. My wife and I are building the car we would buy if we could order a new one from Chrysler. There is no correct fender tag for what we want.We are building it from scratch, for big money and thousands of hours of sweat equity. It is our artistic statement. And yet some fender tag , I dunno, let’s call them douchebag instead of nazi, some fender tag douchebag will mock it because it now has a 440 magnum, airgrabber, pistol grip four speed instead of the flat hood, 318 and 904 that the fender tag says. Do you get offended? Probably not because they don’t mock your effort in your matching numbers car. We didn’t build our car to impress others, and our self esteem doesn’t hinge on what others think. It is, however hurtful to be mocked and our effort made light of when we could have easily just written a cheque for a fender tag matching car that isn’t what we want, but that others may like.

From the linked article, Is that the Mark Meyers from NE Ohio? If so I've met him before. Just curious.
