Guys, got the drivetrain pulled from my clunker 73 yesterday and man, what a challenge. The engine is locked up and could not pull the 727 in the car due to no access to all torque converter bolts..ha ha. Question, car was a factory 4 speed in which I am going back to and appears a PO had pulled all linkage from a auto car to install a 727. They cut a hole in the tunnel for the linkage bar to go down to the tranny and I think another incorrect hole. For the 4 speed I think I only need the main shifter hole....would that be correct? Want to weld up all the holes NOT needed. Any body have a diagram showing all the linkage needed for the factory four speed. I found in the trunk a piece of linkage I think may be linkage that went to the colume for the reverse back up light. Any thing showing that would help great.....thanks...

the reverse light switch is in the trans so no
linkage there just a wire harness. the only hole needed pertaining to 4 speed linkage is the shifter hole.
