Man that looks awesome!!! I would love to do that here but our costs for a leg of that size is through the roof!!! Spring is the time for eating Lamb...IMHO. But some equate it to Mutton and that can be tough and not as good. And Kiwi...NZ Lamb is some of the best in the World. I do know that some grocery stores here in the States carry it so when I can I will grab some Loin or Shoulder Chops, or Steaks. One of my favs is Lamb Trotters/Shanks braised in a coffee Bay Leaf and Garlic mix. Yes Coffee!!! Has a wonderful flavor enhancing taste. Just give it a try at some time and tell me what you think...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:

Greg, I agree. I can't even go to my gun forum without seeing page after page of that virus crap. Yea, it's bad. No, everyone isn't going to die. Stay at home and work on your Mopars...and post pictures. I am looking for something to do to mine but I don't know what. maybe I'll lay down under it like I am working on it and take a nap lol.

Who else would start a thread on rice!!?? :D

I would start a thread about converting my 8.25 open differential into a sure grip but I am still waiting on the sure grip unit.
:popcorn2:
Thinking about just welding up the spiders in my 95 beater Dakota :D

Hang in there fellas. I know that you're all waiting for me to get back out to the garage and work on the Express. I need it to be just a little warmer so I can have the garage door up for welding ventilation. I have the pieces of the trunk rail/ gutter corners and the splash apron to cut and paste onto the rear, a brace for under the trunk floor, some filler to finish off the right side door treatment, fabrication of the right end of the dash to close out the bottom of the A pillar after which it's time to sand like mad and get some paint on the old girl. Sorry to keep everyone waiting and having to view lesser threads until I get going again...lol.
The weather is warm and breezy here today and great for welding ventilation. Been doing some today but man, need to weld more often. My welds look like a beginner did them...at least the bar slides through easily.

That was one of two high quality lamb legs I bought a week before Christmas....we ate the other one on Christmas Day. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and I had much pleasure in eating that. And for me, the best parts are the shank meat.....my wife knows that, and always saves me a chunk of it. :)
I will try your suggestion next time. Sounds interesting.

Yep. This place, FABO, 2 properties, and 2 cars keeps me busy. I have been messing with my 2 batteries in my Dodge's the last day or two. It seems they both have shot craps over the winter. One I killed and the other is 8 or so years old. (bang head) I have a drivers seat in my Swinger to get recovered. It is unbolted, just waiting for the upholstery shop to get done with a street rod so he can put it on. I picked up some sticks today and fertilized. It is supposed to rain the next few days. I should be good.

I may go through my spare parts and see what I can get rid of.

Not to rub it in but I was out swimming and drinking just now. 81 degrees and water is in the 73 degree range :)

I ordered some tune up stuff from Summit Racing
a Summit brand HEI style/Chrysler distributor cap & rotor,
a set of low 40 ohm resistance E3 wires...
(I'll have to custom cut to fit & install cap ends on)
shipped free of course
But coming from Texas instead of Reno, Nevada :poke:
for some reason

I think it's about time, the last time I did it was in Dec. 2007

------------------------------------------------------

I'm about to start my custom step header build
1-7/8" to 2" into a 4-2-1 Flowmasters Scavenger 3" collector (below)
I need it more for torque than top end stuff
probably be on the short side, like 28" , no collectors/flanges
all above the frame/sub-frame connectors levels hopefully
I don't think they will even go back that far
(so no leaks & banging on ****)

I'm sick of the hand ported & power robbing org. 68 HP manifold

I need to buy a new digital camera,
& when I finally order one
maybe I'll show the progress or finished product
I'll be modifying a set of theses shorty's from Heddman's (below)
they actually fit great on the angle plug Edelbrock heads
(It's not a racecar, it's a sort of drag car in search of a corner, up here windy *** roads in the sticks/Sierras)

but;
When I put the Unisteer rack & pinion in
they wouldn't fit anymore,
the DS header exit ran right into the top of the rack/hoses/fittings
I wouldn't recommend the rack either, it's a rear-steer,
like OE stuff, it's really shitty geometry to start with
but;
I really should have gone with a front-steer (forward of the spindle)
I just have to deal with it now
I have a crap load of mandrel 1-7/8" & 2" J bends & a flex joint
to hook to my existing 3" mandrel Flowmaster Delta flow 50 series
exhaust system, I really like the tone/sound (no drone problems)

I think I'm going to make the headers
all slip fit with welded on connection tabs
for easy installation & removal
with no starter clearance issues IF, I can pull it off

as soon as it get a tad warmer outside,
albeit today would have been a good day, but parts aren't here yet
it's mid 60's & sunny, why I still live here...

wish me luck
