I bolted the Belvedere back on the rotisserie this PM. All I've got left to do is weld up the drive shaft loop attachment, the bulkhead wiring hole, and mount the VA unit to the inside fire wall!
Then it's ready to go back to the body shop for finishing. Mike

I spot several improvements...
Front torque boxes, frame connectors, relocated leaf spring mounts, larger trans tunnel....

Look closer and you can see the inner fender braces and the e-brake cable routing tubes, and the square tube for mounting the transmission cooler.

Looks great Mike, that rotisserie is the ticket. I wouldn't know how to act without 10 lbs. of old undercoating packed in my eyes, ears and nose. So is that the trans tunnel i'll be building to fit a gear venders unit?.

I put one in my 66 Belvedere SW and added a section of enlarged tunnel but, when it came to the 65 I thought the correct method would be to replace the entire tunnel. I had a length of 18 gauge rolled to a 4 1/2" radius and cut out the floor to accept it.

doing the body work on one is way cool also no bending over, adjusting the car to a comfortable position to block sand, etc. metal work looks great especially like the tunnel.
 
They can be a life saver. I have had two cars on mine. Two buddies borrowed mine for their cars and another buddy borrowed for his pick up cab and the mounted his bed.
 
Rolled our '65 Formula S Barracuda over for the first time this morning.

The "home made" rotisserie should also fit the '65 Valiant Signet convertible perfectly we have as well (but I imagine the convertible would need some mid-body reinforcing first).

I also used mine once the body was mounted. I then flipped it over and removed the k-frame, front suspension and rear suspension using my cherry picker and lifted everything off from the top. Never had to lay on the ground and do it from underneath while laying on my back and didn't get rust and dirt in my eyes either.
 
This rotisserie was sold in Canada back in the 80's.
Mounts to the wheel hubs. One man can flip the car using a cherry picker.
I used it on my runner as my shop ceiling height is only 8ft.
