What do you do when the parts runner truck breaks down . . . and you need to fix it . . . you use the street rod to pick up parts for the parts truck !

Woke up the other morning to this . . . (just had the transmission rebuilt a couple years ago)
Turns out it was a leaking transfer case . . . with 350,000 miles . . . it did me quite well . . .

So the 66 Chevy II comes to the rescue to pick up the new/used transfer case for the daily driver truck . . .

I have plenty of bullets, powder and primers to reload. I load mainly .308, .223, 7mm RM and 45 ACP.

And I have been playing with this. The boat was my wife's grandfathers, fathers and he gave it to us last year. It's a 2 stroke.

A friend gave me this Chinese 8" bench grinder because it had no power (cheap tools rarely have any) so I fabbed a stand and grinder table to use to sharpen my lathe tools.

Today's progress on the brick pillars . . .

What kind of work do you make on the lathe?
Mostly little projects for my use and a few of my buddies. Nothing too complicated, yet. It's been 50 years since I was formally trained and I have a lot of catching up to do!

I moved a few months ago and just finished a little shop for myself a few weeks ago. In this picture most of the big tools are still in my garage. Emptied my garage and just built a small loft for the rest of the stuff. Painting today, carpet one side and bring my car back home!!!!

Turned a spare room into a home office for our daughter who is working from home now, no big deal, a new paint job and cleaning
It was a good opportunity to throw out a bunch of crap from a room that became a catch all with a closed door to hide it.

I'm still dabbling with my artwork on old car parts. I did the clown last night on a Dana cover.
