On original cars, when the FACTORY installed carpet sets on the assembly line in 1969, was there a cutout in the heel pad for the base of the throttle pedal?

In the corner of the vinyl. That is how you position the carpet.

Anyone out there have a photo of an oem cutout?
I do now. This is out of a 69 coronet 4 door.

And a word of advise, some repro carpet sets do not have the pad in the correct spot so install and verify before you cut it out.

My 69 GTX pad is set back so the pedal is on the front edge of the pad.

My 62 Plymouth carpet I had to send back with a tape outline of where the heel pad needs to be so they could re do it correctly.
