Installed the rear window and trim. The decals are a reproduction of the original rear glass when the car was found.

Last week I started putting together a 71 Charger R / T project car. I put the correct 71 skid plate k frame in the car last Saturday.

I bought this car to build myself, but a friend of mine decided to sell his 71 Charger R / T that he brought back from the Arizona desert, the car has never seen even surface rust, and is in final primer, ready to block and paint, so I bought his car,and this other project 71 Charger R / T is going to be sold . Last weekend, I went up in my loft and dug out some of the parts needed to put the car together as a roller.

The car is a 440 Magnum 4 speed, Dana car with the Ramcharger hood. I bought a new AMD Ramcharger hood, two full 71 Charger quarter panels and a new dutch panel. I also found the hood hinges.

Bumper, grille, and front valence pan time! I may try to get the Ramcharger hood mounted on the car today!

My 51 year old metal buddy and I hit the road after a two month hiatus; boy did it feel good. I don't know why, but no matter what has gone on during the twenty six years I've been with this car, all I have to do is hit the ignition and roll out and suddenly everything's brighter and better.

My life, the world might be s**t right now, but behind the wheel of the Charger, hope rolls forever onward...

After this virus stuff has passed and I'm working again, I'll see about getting that new grille and grille support I had planned to buy before the SHTF...

Can you imagine how crappy they'd look if you painted them collapsed and then opened the hood. Paint stuck coil to coil.

I got the Ramcharger hood put on the 71 Charger R / T yesterday. Putting a hood on a 71 Charger by yourself is the equivalent of being a one legged man in an *** kicking contest and losing badly. Since I couldn't have anyone else give me a hand,I had to ask Jack to help me with the hood! I lubricated the hinges and installed them first, then I mounted the hood.
