Easy to see Starbucks is winning. Even with "shelter in place". I guess the rich uppies figure they can buy their way to good health.

I don’t either but we ate at a SoCal burger chain today and there were at least 50 cars at the drive thru. I don’t think they’re hurting. And thank God if In n Out ever went belly up now that would be a catastrophe

I nearly pissed my pants when my wife told me 1 (ONE) cup of coffee there was $4.25. Guess that explains all the Bmers, Mercedes, Lexus, Cads.
And a whole lotta of those "painted dolls" should were mask year around.

I always opt for brewing my own from Black Rifle Coffee Co. and not getting out of my jammies til 10:00.

Been there a time or two, but, around 5 bucks for a cup and then a tip jar for handing it to me. It's not the money, I feel like I'm being played for a fool.

I really don't like their coffee and for what they charge they can keep it! I order coffee online form O' Neil's Coffee in West Middlesex, PA and grind it myself. Some of the best coffee I've ever had! 440'

I'm not a connoisseur of coffee. Maybe beer, but not coffee. Hard to beat a cup of good ole Folgers Classic Roast at 25¢.
Plus I'm not supporting Starbucks jerk wad owner.

Cawffee kindy makes me nervous when ah dranks it...mm-hmm.

I knew which burger chain you were talking about , long before you named it!
And I don't much care about whose coffee it is if its got enough Bailey's in it.
C and B at 4am this morning.

if I have to leave the house just for a cup of coffee, I will go without. an 8.00 can will last me at least 2 weeks . damn if I will pay 5.00 a cup with a splash of covid 19 , that's ridiculous

Use to go there, but not anymore, there's a little coffee shop across the street, is a local owner ( nice old lady) strong flavored coffee, and cheaper, not the brown colored water from Starbucks, once you taste a stronger more flavored coffee there's no turning back, I love this coffee and besides I help the lady, in this times we have to buy locally not to the big corporations, help the small business.

..... I quit drinking coffee about 4 years ago. only had 3 or 4 cups a week.
It smelled so good when my wife was brewing it.
Turns out that it was causing me all kinds of health issues.
Back aches, head aches, diarrhea, sore muscles. insomnia.
I have not had any health issues since. NOT a single head ache. And that's the only thing in my diet I changed.
I'll be 71 next week and still playing racquetball 3 and 4 times a week for 2 to 3 hours at a time....and beating the pants off of the 20 year olds.
My wife finally gave it up about two weeks ago. We will see how soon here health issues subside.
Anyhow just a FYI.

^^ I guess coffee can affect people differently. It will not even keep me awake. I drank quite a bit of the stuff. I have no idea if it is bad for me or not!

I buy Starbucks Verona whole coffee beans at Costco. I have a coffee machine that grinds them and then makes the coffee. Damn good.
Around here you can buy a medium coffee at Starbucks for $2.70. Cost more than Tim Hortons but much better coffee.
