My last daughter finally moved out! So we rearranged three rooms, scraped the popcorn ceilings and retextured and painted. I FINALLY got my very own space to make a man cave! Still working on finishing touches and I will get a different recliner if I ever get to go to a furniture store again...not something you should buy without trying it on! Also finally found something to do with the prizes I have accumulated instead of stuffing them in a box somewhere.

Even though my wife’s business is closed, she’s moving into a larger building in July, God willing. She wants her sign cut out of copper sheet, but I’ll probably end up cutting it from 16ga cold rolled steel.

A fella that works for my dad wants these cut from 1/4” plate which I picked up before our statewide shutdown.

That’s his last and he’s big into quail and bass. One I designed for my youngest sister in law’ boyfriend.

If I can get my powder coat oven that me and my dad have been building done, I’ll even put some color on them.

Sorry no pics but you guys all know what dirt looks like!!?
Neighbor brought over his tractor and tiller, worked up the garden!!! He's a cop and work cheap so I just gave him a 20!
The garden!! Every year deal, but this year we might need it! Bad!
Maybe just become a vegetarian!??? Texas style, bacon wrapped, stuffed jalapenos!???
If cattle/hog prices keep going lower, the Kung Flu shuts down the packing houses, Crude gets so low they stop making diesel, well you know the rest!!

Don't knock the Vegan thing Bro. My wife had to change her diet to plant based for health reasons, like lower her blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Guess what I get to eat ( unless I cook my own). I went along with her as a measure of support. i/we weren't big meat eaters but we did eat all types. The bigger change was she eliminated ALL oils as well. I would say I am about 85-90% all in with this diet. Since 1 Nov 2019 I have lost 20 lbs!! I have plenty of energy and I am not as hungry between meals. Offered as a personal experience so you can say you heard it from someone who did it instead of some commercial.

Will not caught me knocking it until someone tries to push it as the only way to eat. Nothing worse than a diehard veggie killer complaining about anyone killing meat.

Put a new sling with buttstock sleeve and cheek rest on the re-built and cleaned Ruger Mini 14, new scope too. I've been shooting this since 1986.

Put the leather kit on the lever and trigger guard.

I turned out well, so I tried it on two bladed tools, hand axe and bowie knife.

Both turned out real well and I'm happy with the results, grip is much better now.

Car parts here and there as well...

It has been really dry here so we were finally able to get some fill and grading work done around our house. Hired a guy to do the Bobcat work, but still plenty of hand shoveling and raking for me. Plus, even though the fill was pretty clean, seems there's always some debris and large rocks to pick out.

The old Harley dropped a valve seat so I've been cleaning and polishing for when she goes back together! Here's the intake and mousetrap polished up!

I have been remodeling the house, cut a hole in my floor and built a staircase into the basement, then took out 23' of wall and put up some beams. I lost my phone so I'll find some pics. Also tightened my valve clearances on the Cummins and painted the valve cover in 70s mopar blue(looks ricer, probably shouldn't have). Diff fluid in the wifes JKU. COVID has me at home, but paid. My shoulder cuff surgery was canceled so I'm limited, but still at something. Next is a rehab on my 14' 7k trailer.

I kept putting off shoulder surgery, wanting to finish a customer's project, and then have it repaired. And then they cancelled all surgeries. I'm paying for my procrastination now! Been months since I've slept in the bed. I'm gonna need a new recliner by the time this is all said and done.

Additional progress on the brickwork pillars . . .

To pour the concrete cap on each of these pillars, this wooden form was build to help hold the shape . . .
- it has 2 halves to allow it to be separated and pulled apart after the concrete hardens . . . thus the strap holding the halves together

sm_pillar05.jpg

Cut up and welded some rebar to help support the concrete . . . the rubber around the edge is to form the sides of the concrete (you'll see this later)

sm_pillar06.jpg

Get the concrete into the form . . .

sm_pillar07.jpg

Time for the unveiling . . . half of the wooden form has been removed, you can see the rubber edging still in place . . .

sm_pillar08.jpg

Then the rubber form edge can be pulled from the side ( it actually fell off just as I was getting ready to take the pic - that's why I'm holding it in place )

sm_pillar09.jpg

there is a little bit of concrete that sits on top the form - it is easily busted away (as seen on the front part of this picture)
- this is where you can see the edge and how the rubber forms the concrete . . .

sm_pillar10.jpg

And . . . one done . . . only 3 more to go . . .

sm_pillar11.jpg

Had this area that needed a bit of attention - the step did not extend far enough for what was needed . . .

sm_pillar12.jpg

Cut up a paver, and bricks to fit the area and mortar them in place . . . complete the look . . .
Looks like I need a better picture to show why this needed to be done . . . oooops ! !

sm_pillar13.jpg

And here's my little buddy helping out - you can see the second cap ready to be poured, and the first one completed in the picture . . .
Will be pulling the form on the second cap this morning . . . then on to number 3 (which requires pulling the downspout out of the way too)

sm_pillar14.jpg

2 more to get done and this project will be completed . . .

Nice Mini. Mine has the Hogue overmolded stock.
No scope, flash hider. The FH actually helps the older Minis with accuracy due to the thinner barrels. Personally I have no problem.

I saw in the conversation vegan and vegetarian.
There is a difference between vegan and vegetarian.
And I am not knocking either.

I've been looking at this website recently for possible new parts but all in all it still fires fine without issues. I can still hit targets 50-100 yards with the built-in sights most of the time.
