Hello
69 Charger
Finally bit the bullet and ordered the Legendary foam and vinyl for my front seats.
The sent the cloth material you glue onto the foam, but they say I need felt and 1/2" foam for the installation.
My bad for not looking into this further. I assumed that the foam kit would have all the foam, and yes I know what happens when you assume.
So, anyway, what have you guys used in the past and where did you buy it, if not from Legendary.
Looking for...
Burlap, thickness matter ? And how much ?
Felt, again thickness matter and how much ?
Foam, ?
Live in NE Iowa soo the hog rings and pliers are laying around everywhere.
Any other tips ?
Thanks guys/gals

You can get the upholstery items listed at any of those Artzy Fartzy Fabric shops, JoAnn's, etc. etc. Good Luck

Just an update
The Evil Empire had bolts of burlap and felt, and they also had the spray can adhesive.
The did not have any foam.
So, since the other stores are closed for the zombie virus , I went on e bay and got some half inch foam coming.
Wire, plan on using wire from work, ceiling wire, the stuff they hang drop ceilings with, the older stuff was thicker, heavey, may have do some search and procure for the thicker stuff.
Thanks to all
The wire I can snag from work

What's wrong with reusing the old wires from the seats??? That's what most others do. Good Luck

Check out the Legendary B Body bucket seat upholstery install video. It's very helpful. I also call Legendary tech support and they were great.
