Not a bad find.....I think it was leaking gas also. Noticed a nice puddle at the gas station and then on the 1st stop.....

Beater looks like Don Imus.

The fill neck is tricky with the bends and tight areas.
The repo neck is a quality piece but it takes some adjustment to get it to not be cocked in the grommet and leak there.
Can't say if that tank has been replaced but I had that problem the first time I topped the tank at the store.
Leaked at the grommet and had to clearance the spare tire well and adjust it.

His car was hit on that side so it may have an issue there.
And overfilling is a common problem on many cars as we know.

$2,000? Was this video made in 1994? Also, gotta love the smoking along with the leaking gas lol. Y'know every time I see a 1st Gen Charger I fall more in love with it. It looks like a huge block of machined and detailed steel; it's so macho and beautiful at the same time it's irresistible. And that dash? Awesome...

Uhhh....
I'll agree that the gauges are really cool in the first generation Chargers. The interiors were nice. I can't get into the exterior styling though. I'd rather have the same year Coronet.

Funny seeing a gas nozzle with no vapor recovery boot. 0:22
We gots no such here in TN (Tony is over south of Nashville). :)

I'm a big fan of what he's doing on his channel; always enjoyed his writing back in the day, too.
Guys like him, Ehrenberg, etc. have decades and decades of experience "in the trenches" and don't
give a damn about being PC. He's unpretentious and very approachable, a regular guy who's wired
a bit differently.
Turns out, he's also a fan of Nick's Garage and you'll run across him in the live chats over there sometimes.
He and Nick have formed a sort of mutual admiration thing and they had planned on meeting up
in Carlisle this year (if it happens, anyways).

We're truly living in heady times these days, what with all the ways those who KNOW being willing and
able to share their knowledge with us. I eat that stuff up and am thankful to be alive to see it all.
