Seriously here for a minute.....my buddy Cliff was telling me about dog saliva. Apparently his dad Mike had a nasty cut on his leg years ago, and it wasn't healing very well with traditional bandages and the the like. One day the dog licked his leg. Of course naturally old Mike pushed the dog away. But the dog tried again. Mike had also heard from an even older guy that dog saliva was a natural healer. So Mike guy let the dog lick his leg a few times. Within days, the wound on Mike's leg had healed up quite nicely. Absolutely true story.
Yeah, they use maggots in the hospitals for people with skin ulcers that won't heal. Ain't trying that either. I have 5 dogs, and I see what they eat. I may as well just go rub deer **** in my cuts and hope for the best...
Apparently dog saliva contains a natural antiseptic...sounds disgusting, but it is true.
Warning - do not try this with cats....they are disgusting creatures, and their saliva carries diseases.
