I've run 235/60r15 tires on 15x8 wheels front and rear for years but now would like to run a pair of MasterCraft 275/60r15's on the rear of my 1970 Coronet R/T. Has anybody run these on their 70 Coronet that can recommend their fit, and also recommend a front tire size using the same 15x8 wheel. 235/70r15 maybe? I'm only interested in a level appearance, not a jacked up look. The pic shows the wheels I'm using.

That is a good tire combo, that is exactly the two sizes on my 68 Coronet R/T.

IMO...
My RS23VOA******* has 275-60-15 on all corners with standard Mopar rally wheels. I've had this combo for years without any issues. They are BFG TAs with letters inside.

Thank you for replying Bob, I wouldn't of thought of putting a tire that wide up front but it's apparently working out for you. I'll keep that under consideration.

Just wanted to update this thread. I purchased the Cooper Cobra G/T's, Looks like a very nice tire. P275/60R15 for the rear and P235/70R15 for the front from Walmart website. Free shipping, $125.00 each for the 275's and $104.68 each for the 235's. Thank you Donald Trump for the stimulus money. :thankyou:

Thanks also to everybody who chimed in to assist me choosing a good tire size combo.
