who has bought from Herbs parts?

I bought a couple of things a few years back. Oversea delivery was pretty quick and the items seemed well priced. I can’t remember exactly what I bought but remember that i didn’t have any issues.

How long has it been since they changed hands?

I've dealt with them a couple of years ago with no problems.

Same here a couple years back but a good experience. Seemed like a nice family owned business and fair prices.

Please let me know how was your purchase,I have never bought from them. Roseville-Mopar does not have the air cleaner I need but Herbs does. thanks Dave http://www.herbsparts.com/about.asp
I have heard rumour that Herb has sold, but there are still stories of fine service and great products coming through here. My personal experience has been great, but it's been about a year since I purchased anything.

They are the best! What is this overseas stuff? Did he sell out?

The rumor I heard was that AMS Obsolete bought them, also great to deal with. Maybe someone can verify.

I believe he bought stuff from him and was shipped overseas okay. Herb was a regular at all the Mopar meets, Carlisle and the Nats, and had a full line of Mopar parts.

I dealt with them frequently throughout the 1980s to the late 1990s. Herb was a great MOPAR guy. They are owned by another family now.

I have bought the interior trim spray dye from them. The best stuff I have found for interior parts.

It's what I read when I clicked on the OP's link

I bought parts from them a couple of months ago. No issues.

I have bought a fair amount from them albeit not recently, but always had good service and products.

Herb was a staple of the Mopar community for a long time -- definitely pricey -- but certain things he reproduced or co-reproduced, he was the only one(s) who had it....
His wife, Ruth, was a doll -- and pretty knowledgeable from the years as Herb's teammate.
AMS was Frank Mitchell (now deceased -- many of you know of his "history") 24th and 28th name, as he traversed from Ohio to Florida to Georgia.......

I bought quite a bit from them many years ago when Super Bee Bob was still alive. They were always great to deal with. The sale must have happened within the last year? Thought I saw Herb and Ruth at the Stillwater Mopars in the Park show last June.

AMS Obsolete did buy them. Only complaint I have is shipping is another day since it all moved out of DE. No real issue. I ordered a time or two now as AMS, no problem.
