Hello all! I joined this forum because I'm interested in restoring a 1968 Charger. These forums are a godsend. I tried joining the DodgeCharger forum as was recommended, but for the last four days my application is in limbo. No administrator has apparently reviewed it and I can't post anything over there. Can anyone here send a message to the administrator asking what the deal is? I would really appreciate it. My screen name there is "q2quest". Thank you!

Paul

That site is nothing to do with us whatsoever.

All your answers can be found right here.

Besides, this website is much more user friendly...way easier to upload photos etc....no drama required with Photobucket and other cumbersome methods.

everything you need is right here, tons of knowledge and plenty of perspective.
I abandoned DC.com years ago

Welcome to the site. This place is 1000 times better than dc.com.

Welcome from Alabama, lots of Charger owners here.

welcome from s carolina, would love some pics. I have only owned 3 chargers, there are guys on here that own Herds of them. All I can say is give us a try.

Welcome!

I agree with the folks above - lots of great answers here for Chargers and other B-bodies too.

Good luck with your build and since no one said it yet:

:xscuseless:

Thanks everyone! Sorry, I don't own a Mopar yet, but I hope to soon! I'm looking for a 1968 Charger project. Someone on this site recommended I join DC forum as well. I figured maybe someone here also belonged to the DC forum and could send a message for me.

Welcome,

You’ll probably find that the activity level on this forum is much higher, and a lot of, if not most, b bodies in the same year range are so similar mechanically that much information can be had here and will apply to your future Charger even if the info provider has a road runner or coronet etc....

I’m not, but being a member at the charger site can’t hurt too as when you’re searching the net for info you can look through their archives and it may be useful. For quicker replies, as you’ve just experienced, this site will probably serve you better and you may wish to make this site your primary source. Good luck on your search!

They need to update the forum software desperately over on DC.com. Welcome. Hope you have deep pockets, Chargers are not cheap.

welcome to FBBO
best MoPar related forum on the -www- bar none

looks like @JoePole disagrees with my statement. gave me the big red X and failed to explain why FBBO is all we need. he hurt my feelings. he can just stay at DC.com where the transgenders hang out

Looks like @69Coronetrt also disagrees with me saying this joint is 1000 times better than dc.com. I don't know, maybe it is only 999 times better.

Welcome to FBBO from SoCal - you’re wasting your time on those other sites. It all happens here

yes. I though a thousand was a bit much ;).

every site has its advantages and disadvantages.

“Small” sites can be too small to stay active and vibrant. Yet, with the right mix of people, a small site can be hyper focused, quick and accurate with replies ..... or not. DC has some incredibly experienced people when it comes to one model or wing cars. Not a great place for info on Road Runners or 65 Coronets.

Large sites have more members contributing with a wide variety of interest, depth and experience. but....larger sites also have a larger number of post whores and attention seekers that derail thread with irrelevant comments making it tedious for posters to get a correct, quick answer without wading through a bunch of wrong, miss or time wasting posts.

FBBO is a great site for in depth info on 71 Super Bees if you can get through the crap.

Both have their place. But neither has a Thursday night like the defunct Scat Pack site. :) woo woo

Whoops....Apologies WP. Slip of the finger. Not sure how I missed it. I updated. This is THE site for MoPar B-Bodies!!!!
The Guys and girls (and perhaps tranny's) have been a huge help getting my ride just how I want it.
