Anyone have a B3 blue car or have thoughts on that color?

@Bart K , go to forum list, third one down in mopar guy stuff, projects and restorations.

I concur with the majority, B3 for the win.

B3 vote from me.

I knew several guys "back in the day" that painted their former state police cars ('70 & '71 Fury I) B3 blue. Great color!

Glad to get your opinion, and I agree...it is a great color!!!

As much as I love any MOPAR blue, (my bird being B5) keep the B3, it is such a nice shade and a refreshing change from the more common B5.

I completely agree. I started building my ‘70 twenty five years ago when literally EVERY car being built was boring resale red or boring bright yellow. My car is B5 blue, and really stood out from the crowd. Now it seems everything suddenly turned B5 blue and I wish I’d gone root beer brown or white or B3 blue...

Here is a B3 GTS Dart I use to own

B3 is an awesome classic color. Probably my favorite Chrysler color. I really like all the Chrysler blues. I have a B7 car. It’s a very beautiful blue also and I think a lot of people don’t realize just how nice B7 is in comparison. Because B7 is a color you have to see in person to realize how nice of a color it is. B3 is not like that. It screams how nice it is in pictures alone.
I’m impressed by a person that can walk up to a car and decipher a B5 or B7 color without thinking for a second.

Guys, this is an old thread, the op has already had his car repainted..... b3 blue.
I've got a friend with a b7 70 340 challenger. I like that color too, and I haven't seen another like hers. (Yep, SHE has owned it for at least 30 years)

What’s the point of it being an old thread and the guy having already painted his car ? Several people recently are still commenting on it. Regardless, an old thread, That shouldn’t stop a person from sharing info, opinions, etc. I’d love to see pictures of the Challenger you’re referring to

I agree, it's just that he was asking if he should paint it b3, and now it's already done. I was trying to point out that the decision was already made, not that people shoudn't share thoughts and pics.
Next time she has it out, I'll get some pics. We were going to take ours to spring fling but that got shot down.

On my 69 Coronet 4 door I started this thread for, I am lucky to have the B3 exterior color and the B7 interior!!!
